IP TV for the masses
Some months ago I was looking for a system to easily deploy a IP TV. Something killing simple. A reader, subscribing to rss feeds providing .avi contents. Such a beast enables you to create…your own TV channels… Of course this will change the media industry like P2P and DivX did. … But before that, it will enables me to create a TV channel within the company I work for :-)….FireAnt was doing the job, but it’s not open source, and when I want something easy to install, with new features I need added regularly, my first choice is going to open source solutions with a strong community…. That’s were Democraty Internet TV platform comes. GPLed, providing a reader and a server platform to broadcast the content…That’s exactly what I need:
- Democracy can subscribe to any video RSS feed
