Microsoft and Symbian of course. Have you noticed the mindshare that Android and the iPhone took in, well, a few months? Pretty sure it will last. That’s a good news. I am still waiting for my Linux based, 3G, dual card and open sourced mobile phone. And I feel it is not that far away…

While still being far from usable, the availability of the dev kit might soon throw a new challenger in the arena, the neo 1973 :

Fully “Open” from the soft to the hardware (you can connect to the PCB with à JTAG), definitely something to look at (if you’re a geek ?)
oh i’m dying to get my hands on a dual card phone
i’ll start experimenting soon with that whole android thing. really interests me! btw you don’t happen to have some interesting java mobile projects soon in your ADC? 
i’m on the lookout for a new interesting project in the mobile area
