Business Process Management as a Service
Intalio, Inc. just announced a BPM as a Service offering. The subscription for the service starts at $1,500 for each dedicated server, and includes bandwidth, licenses, maintenance, and support. Users can receive a free 5-day evaluation. The beast is run on top of Amazon EC2.
Yet another example that all the IS components will be provided on-demand. Of course SLA and security are not fully OK, but this is just a question of time. And quarters, not years.
